The Lodi Chamber of Commerce has a NEW attitude. We encourage Chamber membership to be viewed as an investment, not an expense. You can expect a return for your investment in the Lodi Chamber, a real dollars and cents return visible at your bottom line. Because each business is different, the source of those returns differ, here are some of the ways Lodi Chamber membership pays off.

Economic Development If you believe jobs are important to the economic vitality of Lodi you'll be happy to hear the Chamber has formed a task force of leading business people to help the City get back on point to grow the employment base in Lodi with businesses that compliment our community.

Community Involvement The Lodi Chamber thought it important to examine the key elements driving Lodi's future and with one voice, offer direction for this General Plan. The 20 Chamber members working on this project spent over 400 individual hours researching, discussing, compiling and writing six White Paper reports. The results of the effort are compiled into six narratives that are written so as to guide policy and philosophy on how Lodi should grow.

City Hall The Chamber goes to bat for business at City Hall. Labor has the unions; the environment has its' avid groups, who in Lodi speaks for business? In the past few years City Hall has grown a new respect for this Chamber's ability to "weight-in" for business. When the Chamber speaks it does so with the voice of 800 businesses!

Exposure If your business or your sales people need exposure to the community or other business people, the Chamber can help. In 2007 the Lodi Chamber has made over 72,000 business referrals or leads to chamber members! The Chamber's website, many events like the Street Faire, School Street Wine Stroll, Grape Day and many other events keep sponsors talking about new business.
